A group of drag queen artist called «4D sister and cousin». They tell their life on stage and his life when the lights go out, when the makeup and costumes are out. They tell their experiences, dreams, anecdotes and as through this art started a wonderful family.
Un grupo de artistas transformistas denominado “Las 4D y la prima” relatan su vida en el escenario, su vida al apagarse las luces, quitarse el vestuario y el maquillaje. Cuentan sus vivencias, sueños, anécdotas y como a través de este arte formaron una familia.
– Synopsis / Sinopsis:
A group of drag queen artist called «4D sister and cousin». They tell their life on stage and his life when the lights go out, when the makeup and costumes are out. They tell their experiences, dreams, anecdotes and as through this art started a wonderful family. Destiny (Gledys), Drastika (John), Naomi (Darwin), Dakira (Xavier) and Kosakura (Angel), they tell their stories of how the art of transformation has changed their lives and how they have lived sexuality discrimination. They show us that are expressed through art and fulfill dreams.
Un grupo de artistas transformistas denominado “Las 4D y la prima” relatan su vida en el escenario y su vida al apagarse las luces, quitarse el vestuario y el maquillaje. Cuentan sus vivencias, sueños, anécdotas y como a través de este arte formaron una familia. Destiny (Gledys), Drastika (Jhon), Naomi (Darwin), Dakira (Xavier) y Kosakura (Angel) cuentan sus historias de como el arte del transformismo ha cambiado su vida y como han vivido discriminación por su sexualidad. Ellos nos muestran que a través del arte se expresan, viven y cumplen sueños.

JORGE VEGA REYES
Jorge Reyes Vega actor, journalist, screenwriter and film director. He has produced eight short films, which have participated in national and international festivals. Director and creator of Lunatics Productions, an independent production company that supports new acting talents.
Jorge Vega Reyes, actor, periodista, guionista y director de cine. Ha producido ocho cortometrajes que han estado en festivales nacionales e internacionales. Creador y director de “Lunáticos Producciones” una productora independiente que apoya y forma a los nuevos talentos actorales.
– Director Statement / Declaraciones del Director:
Decided to make this film for two reasons, the first being to publicize the drag-queen art because in our country is little known and is shown in a marginal way and the second reason was to show the person behind the makeup, know their history, their dreams, their fears and thus create awareness in the viewer about the people behind the makeup and costumes through the life stories presented. Something different in our short film is more than reflect the drag-queen art, we show a family of drag-queen called 4D SISTERS.
Decidimos realizar este cortometraje por dos razones principales, la primera fue dar a conocer el arte del transformismo porque en nuestro país es muy poco conocido y se muestra de una manera marginal es su mayoría de veces y la segunda razón era mostrar a la persona detrás del maquillaje, conocer su historia, sus sueños, su miedos y de esta manera Crear conciencia en el espectador sobre las personas que están detrás del maquillaje y el vestuario a través de las historias de vidas presentadas. Algo que le torna diferente a nuestro cortometraje es que a más de reflejar el arte del transformismo, mostramos a una familia que se formó a través de este arte.
