It is the film of a mother who does not want to live with her son, of a father who leaves the mother alone. A family structure not so rare. But more than a plot are narrated facts that open to questions. What is a mother? What is a father? What is a son? We no longer know… that’s what the movie tells.
Es la película de una madre que no quiere vivir con su hijo, de un padre que deja a la madre sola. Una estructura familiar no tan rara. Pero más que una trama se narran hechos que se abren a las preguntas ¿Qué es una madre? ¿Qué es un padre? ¿Qué es un hijo?… Ya no sabemos… Eso cuenta la película.

It is the film of a mother who does not want to live with her son, of a father who does not see his son and leaves the mother alone. A family structure not so rare, quite common. However, this story is almost silent and happens only between the protagonist and the viewer. Maybe that’s why he takes his time to narrate it. Because more than a plot is facts, it is the capture of some images that open up to the questions. What is a mother? What is a father? What is a son? We do not know…
Es la película de una madre que no quiere vivir con su hijo, de un padre que no ve a su hijo y deja a la madre sola. Una estructura familiar no tan rara, bastante común. Sin embargo esta historia es casi muda y sucede solamente entre la protagonista y el espectador. Quizás por eso se toma su tiempo para narrarlo. Porque más que una trama son hechos, es la captura de unas imágenes que se abren a las preguntas ¿Qué es una madre? ¿Qué es un padre? ¿Qué es un hijo? Ya no sabemos…

BELÉN BLANCO
Belen Blanco has a career that, because of its extension, doesn’t seem to correspond to her youth. After working in film, theatre, and television, and establishing herself as one of the most important actresses of her generation in Argentina, Belen is now a producer of short and feature films. She debuts in cinema with “Picado Fino” directed by Esteban Sapir, winner of the audience’s choice award in Berlin. Belen worked as an actress with directors such as Luis Puenzo, Alejandro Doria, Diego Lerman, Adrián Caetano, Fernando Spiner, among others. When she traveled to Spain for the premiere of “La puta y la Ballena” directed by Luis Puenzo, she was selected to star in “The Nun” a film produced by Filmax and written by Jaime Balagueró. Belen produced her first short film “Nadie” in the year 2007 with the National Funds for the Arts award with which participated at Berlinale. This aided the production of her next short “Germen” with which she obtained an award from the Metropolitan Funds for Culture, Science, and the Arts. In 2009, she wins another award from the National Funds for the Arts and produces “Imagen”. In 2015 she participates in “De Pesca” directed by Pablo Reyero. In 2017 acted in the film “Furtivo” directed by Francisco De Eufemia.
Belen Blanco tiene una trayectoria en cine, teatro y televisión, consagrándose como una de las actrices más importantes de su generación, Belén es ahora también realizadora de cortos y largometrajes. Realizó su primer cortometraje ¨Nade¨ en el 2007 con el premio del Fondo Nacional de las Artes. Con este cortometraje participó en la competencia Oficial del Festival de Berlín. Esto ayudó para la realización del siguiente cortometraje ¨Germen¨ con el que obtuvo el premio del Fondo Metropolitano de la Cultura, las Ciencias y las Artes. En el 2009 gana nuevamente el premio del Fondo Nacional de las Artes y realiza ¨Imagen¨. Desde el 2010 en adelante ha realizado siete cortometrajes de ficción y documentales que han sido premiados y han participado en diferentes festivales nacionales e internacionales como el Bafici y la Berlinale. En 2015 Belén comienza a realizar su primer largometraje de ficción en forma totalmente independiente. En 2018 actuará en Furtivo, una película de Francisco De Eufemia.
