A journey through the stories of lesbians in search of motherhood, and a deep reflection on heteronorm as a system of oppression.
Un recorrido por historias de personas lesbianas que conforman familias, y una profunda reflexión sobre la heteronorma como sistema de opresión.
- Synopsis / Sinopsis:
The documentary feature film «Aloud» collects interviews with lesbian people who are or have decided to become mothers through fertility techniques with their partners, and reflects on how heteronormative discourses go through their experiences and construction in their maternity wards and in their lesbian stocks.
El largometraje documental «En voz alta» recoge entrevistas a personas lesbianas que son o han decidido ser madres a través de técnicas de fertilidad junto a sus parejas, y reflexiona sobre cómo los discursos heteronormativos atraviesan sus experiencias y la construcción en sus maternidades y en sus existencias lesbianas.

TERESA MARTINO

Teresa Martino is an audiovisual producer. She graduated in 2005 from the Center for Cinematographic Research (CIC). In 2020, with her thesis «Aloud», she obtains a degree as a Journalist at Social Communication University (UNLP). Since 2006 she has made audiovisual pieces with a feminist and LGTBIQ + perspective. Her latest short films “Pumping” and “Revés” vindicate the fight against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
Realizadora audiovisual, se recibe en el año 2005 en el Centro de Investigación Cinematográfica (CIC), y en el año 2020 con su tesis “En voz alta» obtiene el título de Licenciada en Comunicación Social con orientación en Periodismo (UNLP). Desde el año 2006 realiza piezas audiovisuales con perspectiva feminista y LGTBIQ+. Sus últimos cortometrajes “Pumping” y “Revés”, reivindican la lucha contra la discriminación por orientación sexual e identidad de género, ambos con reconocimiento internacional, seleccionados en diversos festivales de cine.

My lesbian identity and my being a filmmaker have found in heteronorm the antagonist of all my works. Aloud is a personal cry, but also a collective one, from which I invite you to reflect on how heteronormative discourses cross lesbian existences and the construction of their maternity wards.
Mi identidad lesbiana y mi ser cineasta han encontrado en la heteronorma a la antagonista de todas mis obras. En voz alta es un grito personal, pero también colectivo, desde el cual invito a reflexionar sobre cómo los discursos heteronormativos atraviesan las existencias lesbianas y la construcción de sus maternidades.
