“CCE” cuenta la vida de Elisa Forti, quien a los 82 años está por correr la carrera de su vida: 25 kilómetros por su pueblo natal al norte de Italia, en el Lago di Como. Mientras viaja junto a su familia por los lugares donde transcurrió su infancia, corre junto a dos de sus nietos una exigente carrera por la naturaleza. Elisa demuestra a pura acción que “la edad es lo que se siente en el corazón, no lo que dice el documento”. CCE es una película inspiradora, como ella.

«The running Nonna» tells the story of Elisa Forti, who at the age of 82 is about to run the race of her life: 25 kilometers through her hometown in northern Italy, near Lago di Como. While traveling with her family through the places where she spent her childhood, she runs alongside with two of her grandchildren this demanding career through nature. Elisa shows pure action showing that «age is what one feels in the heart, not what the document says». This is an inspiring movie, like her.

– Director´s Biography / Biografía de los directores:

“Como Corre Elisa” es nuestra primera película documental. Realizamos el proyecto viral “Privilegiados”. En 2018 guionamos la obra “La ventana del árbol y Ana Frank”, distinguida por la Comisión de DDHH de la Legislatura Porteña. Trabajamos para la Fed. Arg. LGBT realizando documentales sobre niños trans, y un ciclo de piezas documentales para internet sobre el acoso callejero. Previo a eso tenemos diversos trabajos realizados para televisión y publicidad.

«The Running Nonna» is our first documentary film. We produce the viral project «Privilegiados». In 2018 we wrote the play «The window of the tree and Anne Frank», distinguished by the Human Rights Commission of the Buenos Aires Legislature. We work for the Fed. Arg. LGBT making documentaries about trans children, and a web series documentary piece for internet about street harassment. Prior to that we have several works done for television and advertising.

“Es una película positiva, que motiva a hacer, como es Elisa. Te invita a seguir cumpliendo sueños más allá de la edad, porque como dice ella la edad es lo que marca la cabeza y no el documento. Y por otro lado posee también una interesante perspectiva de género. Porque cuenta la historia de una mujer con deseos, con fuerza, una mujer que hizo, hace y hará lo que su corazón manda. Una mujer que pudo con su familia, con el trabajo, con sus sueños, con su historia. Una mujer que corre, y hace que todos vayamos atrás tratando de alcanzarla”.

«It’s a positive film, which motivates the audience, like Elisa do. It invites you to continue fulfilling dreams beyond age, because as she says age is what’s in your head and not in a ID. On the other hand it also has an interesting gender perspective. Because it tells the story of a woman with desires, with strength, a woman who did, does and will do what her heart commands. A woman who took care of her family, work, her dreams, her story.A woman who runs, and makes us all want to keep up with her trying to reach her «

“Un día decido hacer algo por mi estado físico, y me anoto en un grupo de running. ¿Yo corriendo? Pero había algo que me hacía volver a ese deporte que mucho no me gustaba: entre mis compañeros y compañeras había una mujer de 80 años con un estado físico admirable. Un día íbamos trotando y le empiezo a preguntar sobre su vida. Como si nada, paso a paso, me empieza a contar sobre las guerras, la inmigración, la familia numerosa. Yo estaba fascinado. Como broche de oro me dice que a los 6 meses estaba planificando irse a correr 25 kilómetros por las montañas en las que había nacido, al norte de Italia. Entonces le dije “Eli, eso es una película”. A lo que me respondió: “Hacela”. Bueno… acá está”.

“One day I decide to do something for my physical condition, and I register in a running group. Me running? But there was something that made me return to this sport that I did not like much: among my colleagues there was an 80-year-old woman with an admirable physical condition. One day we were jogging and I started asking her about her life. Step by step, She began to tell me about wars, immigration, a large family. I was fascinated. As a finishing touch, she tells me that in 6 months she was planning to go 25 kilometers through the mountains where she was born, in northern Italy. Then I said «Eli, that’s a movie.» To which she replied: «So do it.» Well … here it is”
