Two elders expose the ygur lifestyle through their everyday jobs and the love they share for their land and traditions.
Dos ancianos exponen el estilo de vida de la comunidad Yugur, no solo a través de sus trabajos cotidianos sino del amor que sienten por su tierra y su tradición.
– Long Synopsis / Sinopsis Larga:
Anyu and Lan have been living happily together for more than 50 years in Sunan, China. They both keep the Yugur tradition alive by their vocational activities. Their work materializes the bond between the community and the values of keeping the tradition alive. Love portraits the relationship between the villagers and their surroundings.
Anyu y Lan viven juntos desde hace más de 50 años en Sunan, China. Ambos mantienen viva la tradición Yugur a través de sus actividades diarias. Sus trabajos exponen el vínculo entre la comunidad y los valores de mantener la tradición viva. Love retrata la relación entre sus habitantes y los alrededores.

Ignacio Oyuela is a filmmaker and teacher in the University of Buenos Aires. For 8 years he has been working as a Director and Cameraman. In 2015 he won the ‘Mecenazgo’ from Buenos Aires city to shoot his film Acapulco. In 2016 he wins different contests and a scholarship to shoot a documentary in China. In 2017 he will be participating in the Berlinale Talent’s within the BAFICI activities.
Ignacio Oyuela es un realizador cinematográfico y docente egresado de la UBA. Desde hace 8 años se desempeña en los ámbitos de dirección y cámara. En 2015 gana el mecenazgo de la ciudad para la realización de su mediometraje Acapulco. El 2016 gana diversos concursos y una beca para filmar en China. En 2017 participa del Berlinale Talents en el marco del BAFICI.

The bond between these elders let me portrait the feeling that surrounds the entire ygur community. Not only with themselves, but amongst all the visitors. This is a very open and friendly community that keeps their tradition alive with unity and through common action.
El vínculo de los abuelos me permitió retratar el sentimiento que tiene toda la comunidad ygur no sólo para consigo misma, sino para con el resto de los visitantes. Una comunidad abierta y fraternal que mantiene viva su tradición a través de la unidad y acción común.
