An unnamed narrator tells the terrible experience of being shipwrecked for days to finally get to a strange and lonely Pacific island where a surprising and dramatic discovery does.
Un narrador innominado cuenta la terrible vivencia de haber naufragado por días para llegar finalmente a una extraña y solitaria isla del Pacífico donde hace un sorprendente y dramático descubrimiento.

ROMAN GOMES
Roman Gomes has been developing in the world of art and in areas such as disparate playing – and yet so similar -like Graphic Design, Animation and Plastic Art. He has been acting for years as a visual communicator, translating artistic language through multimedia exhibitions, creating visual narratives for the spectator in large-scale format installations or part media as channels of expression. In 2011, Roman started to work with a series of experimental musicians and with the screenwriter and writer Diego Cortes. Together they began with the adaptation of Literary Fantasy genre classics: from Cary Bates to H.P. Lovecraft or the universal Dante Alighieri. The visual way to tell these adaptations is based on by two or more projections on scene and simultaneously. Adaptations chosen and visual language, Baroque and obsessive, is a hint of fantasy and fascination with the supernatural. Since 2008 he has been publishing and participating in various galleries Media Art, International Festival of Video, Multimedia Academic Institutions and Contemporary Art Centers in Argentina and elsewhere in the world.
Román Gomes ha venido desarrollándose en el universo del arte y sus zonas limítrofes jugando en áreas tan dispares -y a la vez tan similares- como el Diseño Gráfico, la Animación y la Plástica. Desde hace tiempo está ejerciendo de comunicador visual traduciendo el lenguaje artístico en manifestaciones multi-mediales. Siempre generando narraciones visuales para el espectador en formato de gran escala, y a través de una Instalación o Pieza multimedia como canal de expresión. La forma visual de contar estas adaptaciones es mediante dos o más proyecciones en escena y de manera simultánea. Las adaptaciones elegidas y su lenguaje visual, barroco y obsesivo, es una sugerencia de su fascinación por la fantasía y lo sobrenatural. Desde el año 2008 viene exponiendo y participando en distintas Galerías Media Art, Festivales Internacionales de Vídeo, Instituciones Académicas de Multimedia y Centros de Arte Contemporáneo tanto en Argentina como en otras partes del Mundo.

Make adaptation of Lovecraft was a challenge. Try my aesthetic approach from all this overflowing imagery writer of Providence. Search from animation to represent their fascinating creatures, their cosmic nightmares, night and the horrors that were «indescribable» on his own words. The challenge was then the excuse to adapt Dagon, one of his first stories with clearly fantastic accents.
Hacer una adaptación de Lovecraft era todo un desafío. Intentar aproximarse desde mi estética a toda esta imaginería desbordante del escritor de Providence. Buscar desde la animación representar sus criaturas fascinantes, sus pesadillas cósmicas, la noche y los horrores que eran ”imposible de describir” según sus propias palabras. El desafío fue entonces la excusa para adaptar Dagon, uno de sus primeros relatos con tildes claramente fantásticos.
