– Synopsis / Sinopsis:
They buy furniture, restore it and offer it for sale. Tristan is the head of the antiques business. His knowledge of the field and his attention to detail allows him to run one of the most selling shops in San Telmo and Argentina. Detecting signed furniture is one of the most risky challenges in his business.
Compran muebles, los restauran y los ofrecen a la venta. Tristán es la cabeza del negocio de antigüedades. Su conocimiento del rubro y su atención a los detalles le permite manejar uno de los negocios más vendedores de San Telmo y de la Argentina. Detectar muebles de autor es uno de los desafíos de mayor riesgo en el rubro.
– Director´s Biography / Biografía del Director:
GERMÁN BASSO
He graduated in History but never practiced it. He worked as a producer of Artear for a year and a half in the late night show «Que Parezca un Accidente» where he began to link with the audiovisual universe. During the last years he completed his Master in Documentary Film at the Universidad del Cine, Buenos Aires. «Old things» is his first short film.
Es licenciado en Historia pero nunca ejerció. Trabajó como productor de Artear un año y medio en el programa «Que Parezca un Accidente» donde comenzó a vincularse con el universo audiovisual. Durante los últimos años realizó la Maestría en Cine Documental en la Universidad del Cine, de Buenos Aires. «Cosas viejas» es su primer cortometraje.
