A multi-ethnic family, marked by the sudden death of the mother, celebrates Christmas in Argentina in keeping with her family tradition. The American father must decide if this will be their last Christmas there, knowing that distance will gradually wash away the family bond.
Una familia multicultural celebra navidad en Argentina después de sufrir la muerte de la madre, oriunda de ese país. El padre, Estadounidense, tiene que decidir si será la última Navidad que celebren juntos en familia, sabiendo que la distancia lentamente disolverá el vínculo.

IGNACIO BORDERES
Born and raised in Argentina. He has directed Theater in Argentina as well as being an actor there. Is currently based in NYC where he works as a Director and Coach for WWE, as well as Directing at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, Go Broadway and Manhattan College.
Nacido y criado en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Allí fue director y actor hasta que decidió ir a estudiar a EEUU. Actualmente está trabajando de director para WWE, Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, Go Broadway y Manhattan College.
– Director’s Statement / Declaraciones del Director:
This story was sparked by a writing exercise that my teacher, the late Larry Alton, asked us to do involving a secret. You could say that Argentina is located in one of the far corners of the world, and because of that, people don’t know much about us. As a Latino who moved to New York, trying to make a new life, I can’t help feel people are set on focusing on what makes us all different. I wanted to tell a story that transcends visible differences and speaks about the intimate moments we all share. We all have family ties that need to be nourished, because at the end of the day, the important moments in our lives are only worthwhile if we share them with the people closest to us.
Esta historia empezó en mi cabeza cuando en una clase de mi querido y recientemente difunto profesor, Larry Alton, se nos pidió que escribiéramos un cortometraje que contenga un secreto. Se podría decir que Argentina, ubicada en uno de los rincones del mundo, es desconocida para la gran mayoría de las personas. Me mudé a Nueva York siendo latino, buscando empezar una nueva vida y no pude evitar notar que aquí se hace mucho hincapié en aquellas diferencias que hay entre las personas. Mi propósito fue contar una historia que trascienda a esas diferencias visibles y mostrar esas experiencias íntimas que todos afrontamos. Todo tenemos lazos familiares que deben nutrirse, porque al final del día, serán los que estarán ahí para disfrutar los momentos importantes de nuestra vida.
