Agustín, an insecure young man, is sitting next to his father-in-law. His girlfriend hands them some churros for them to eat. Because of his shyness, he does not dare to grab the chocolate churro that he likes so much. As a consequence, his paranoia increases in a downward spiral that leads him to lose his mind.
Agustín, un joven inseguro, está sentado junto a su suegro. Su novia les alcanza unos churros para que coman. Por culpa de su timidez, no se anima a agarrar el churro de chocolate que tanto le gusta. Como consecuencia, su paranoia incrementa en forma de espiral descendente que lo lleva a perder la cabeza.
- Synopsis / Sinopsis
Agustín, an insecure young man, is sitting next to his girlfriend’s father. She hands them some churros for them to eat. Because of his shyness, he does not dare to grab the chocolate churro that he likes so much and his father-in-law does not stop eating one after another. As a consequence, his paranoia increases in a downward spiral that leads him to lose his sanity. Agustin believes that everything is a sinister plan to test him but he reacts in a savage way without knowing that he is the victim of his own mind.
Agustín, un joven inseguro, está sentado junto al padre de su novia. Ella les alcanza unos churros para que coman. Por culpa de su timidez, no se anima a agarrar el churro de chocolate que tanto le gusta y su suegro no para de comer uno tras otro. Como consecuencia, su paranoia incrementa en forma de espiral descendente que lo lleva a perder la cordura. Agustín cree que todo es un plan siniestro para ponerlo a prueba, reacciona de una forma salvaje sin saber que es víctima de su propia cabeza que no expresa.

GERÓNIMO COLDESINA
Geronimo Coldesina born in Buenos Aires. He studied Film Directing at the Universidad del Cine. Geronimo is a Director and Independent Producer. He is currently writing his first feature film “Cosas Que Pasan”.
Geronimo Coldesina nacido en Buenos Aires. Estudió Dirección cinematográfica en la Universidad del Cine. Geronimo es Director y Productor independiente. Actualmente está escribiendo su primer largometraje “Cosas Que Pasan”.

When we were planning on how we were going to approach the film, we decided that we wanted to unfold the story with the main character’s point of view. Agustin’s character explores human insecurities and triggers the question of “What could happen with a person that doesn’t express its feelings?” This short film traverses the importance of communication and honesty with our most humble desires.
Cuando estábamos planeando cómo íbamos a abordar la película, decidimos desarrollar la historia desde el punto de vista del personaje principal. El personaje de Agustín explora las inseguridades humanas y desencadena la pregunta «¿Qué podría pasar con una persona que no expresa sus sentimientos?» Este cortometraje atraviesa la importancia de la comunicación y la honestidad con nuestros deseos más humildes.
