From the very heart of the Pachamama region to the centre of the capital cities, Susy Shock creates her own path. High heels and make up, streets, poetry and companions; all contribute to her condition of reinventing herself: not a man, not a woman, not xxy nor h2o.

From the very heart of the Pachamama region to the centre of the capital cities, Susy Shock creates her own path, and travels, as if she were a comet brightening up the instant, whichever instant she crosses our path. High heels and make up, streets, poetry, friends and companions; all contribute to her condition of reinventing herself: not a man, not a woman, not xxy nor h2o; but a monster of the abnormal, a butterfly who wants to play and enjoy. It is the dichotomy of the visible and invisible in the setting of a person, in the deconstruction of an identity. And, above all, it is all about the struggle to be who you want to be. Who wants to be normal? …Let others be the norm.
Desde el interior de la Pachamama hasta el centro de las capitales Susy Shock hace camino, recorre como un cometa que viene a despabilar el rato, el rato que nos toque transitar. Tacos, maquillaje, canto, calle, poesía, amigos y compañeras nos van introduciendo en su condición de reinventarse: ni varón, ni mujer, ni xxy, ni h2o. Un monstruo de lo anormal, una mariposa que quiere jugar y disfrutar. La dicotomía de lo visible y lo invisible, en la configuración de una persona, en la deconstrucción de la identidad y ante todo en una lucha por poder ser quien se quiere ser. ¿Quién quiere ser lo normal?… Que otros sean lo normal.
– Director´s Biography / Biografía del Director:
SOFÍA BIANCO
Born in La Plata on October 19th, 1987.Professor in Audiovisual Arts. Currently working on her graduate thesis for the degree on Audiovisual Arts. Both careers of the Fine Arts Faculty of the La Plata National University. Professor in diverse script writing and photography workshops. She won the Scholarship for group projects 2013 of the National Arts Fund, with orientation in Audiovisual Media, “Construyendo Miradas” (Constructing Gazes). She co-produced and co-directed the documentary “DóndeestáDarío Jerez?” (Where is Darío Jerez? /2013) and “Dario Presente” (Dario is here/2014) filmed in Santa Teresita and having its premiere in a local theater. She wrote and directed the documentary short “Deconstrucción. Crónicas de Susy Shock” (Deconstruction. Chronicles of Susy Shock/ 2015) presented in different festivals. She also wrote the feature film “Las Olas” (The Waves) which is currently in post-production stage.
Nació en La Plata, el 19 de octubre de 1987. Se recibió de Profesora en Artes Audiovisuales y actualmente trabaja en su Tesis de Grado para completar la Licenciatura en Artes Audiovisuales. Ambas carreras de la Facultad de Bellas, Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Se desempeña como profesora en diversos cursos de escritura de guion y fotografía. Ganó una beca grupal en el 2013 del Fondo Nacional de las Artes, en la orientación medios audiovisuales por el proyecto “Construyendo Miradas”. Co – produjo y co- dirigió los documentales “¿Dónde está Darío Jerez?” (2013) y “Darío Presente” (2014) realizados en la ciudad de Santa Teresita y estrenados en una sala local. Guionista y directora del documental “Deconstrucción. Crónicas de Susy Shock” (2015) presentado en distintos festivales. Guionista del largometraje “Las Olas”, que se encuentra en la etapa final de post producción.
